What is the
Takeover Room button for?
This allows another tutor to take control of a tutorial room in the event of the original tutor being disconnected, or having to logoff for any reason. Once a tutor leaves the room, for whatever reason, and if there are students in the queue or live, another tutor can click the "Takeover Room" button, and see the listing of currently active tutorial rooms with no tutors present. The original tutor's name and room ID will be in this list. Click on the link and the new tutor will take control of the tutorial room where the original tutor left off.
What is the
Update Tutorial button for?
This allows a tutor to change what NetTutor groups his or her tutorial room is open for. For example, Bob is a tutor for Group A, Group B, and Group C, and he starts his tutoring shift with Group A and Group B. At 3:00PM, he needs to start tutoring for Group C, and stop tutoring for Group A and Group B. So, Bob will uncheck the checkboxes for Group A and Group B, and check in the checkbox for Group C. Then he will click the "Update Tutorial" button. He will get a message saying his tutorial room has been updated for the current groups. Now, before clicking "Update Tutorial", students from Group A and Group B could see Bob was online, and students from Group C could not see Bob online. After clicking "Update Tutorial", students from Group A and Group B can not see Bob online, but students from Group C can. Even though Bob is not currently tutoring for Group A and Group B, any questions that were in the queue from Group A and Group B were not affected. All new question submissions to Bob's tutorial room will come from Group C only.
What is the
Post-Process button used for?
Post-Processing allows a tutor to save a live tutorial session, and go back to edit and/or archive it later. During a live tutorial interaction with a student, the tutor has a button that says "Save". Clicking this button save a copy of the whiteboard to the Post-Process area. There can be only one saved copy of each session, so every time the "Save" button is clicked, the old copy is overwritten. When the tutor clicks the "Post-Process" button, a whiteboard will come up, allowing the tutor to navigate through all of his/her saved sessions. Clicking on the "Next" button will go to the next session in the queue, and clicking on the "Edit" button will allow the tutor to start editing the session. Once editing the session, the tutor can click the "Delete" button to remove the question from the queue, or click the "Archive" button to send the session to the Tutorial Archives.

What are Worksheets, and how do I use them?
Worksheets are created by the instructor or tutor for the students. When the tutor or instructor clicks on the "Manage Worksheets" icon, a new window appears with a list of the current worksheets, and how many of each are graded and ungraded. When the user clicks on the worksheet title, a new window appears with a table containing each of the students that have submitted that worksheet. In each row, the student's userid, the last submission date, the last date this student's submission was graded, the last score for this submission, and the current resubmit status. By clicking on the student's userid, the tutor or instructor can being grading the submission. After clicking the submit button when finished, the tutor or instructor is prompted to provide a grade. The resubmit status displays a "Y" if the student can resubmit as often as they wish. A "N" will be displayed if the student cannot resubmit. Clicking on the "change" link will toggle this value. At the bottom of the table, there is a link to "close the submission". This will change all student's resubmit status to "N".
